Paperless Flight Bag™ Class II
The Paperless Flight Bag™ Class II online solution is currently being implemented in
several of our airline customers in Europe incorporating not only the high performance
modules of the Class I solution but also airport maps and manuals. The PFB™ uses stove-away/mounted tablet
PC's used legally during the complete flight, including take-off and landings. Since PFB™ Class II is
based on Windows XP, you are free to choose any tablet PC that may fit your needs most effectively.
These tablet PC's are available in almost any shape or size and prizes vary substatially. We will take care
of the implementation for you.
Like in our PFB™ Class I solution, all actions and computations made on PFB™ are
monitored and logged on a central server. Unlike most Electronic Flight Bag systems, PFB™ does not
require CD's for updating, but utilize the online features to update and up- and download last minute
data to optimize all calculations. These precise calculations based on real-time data result in increased
safety, maximum aircraft load, reduced ground time, less administration and minimum use of fuel and
engine power.
The PFB™ solution allows for integration of other disparate systems such as AIMS,
CCTV, FMS, GPS, ATC, etc. Starting out with only a few of the PFB™ modules, does not
limit you in any way for expanding into other functionality for the solution that fits your organization
most efficiently and effectively at any given time.
